With a desolate, breathtaking view of Lake Michigan in the background, tears rolled down his cheeks as she stepped out of a classic white Cadillac and walked arm in arm with her father through the rain drops.
When they were 15 years old, he asked her to be his girlfriend as the two sat on a park bench just steps away. Only through his most heartfelt prayers did he ever believe today would be his reality.
“He’s been wanting to marry her since eighth grade,” a guest said to me as he kindly held the umbrella over my head while Kristen and her father walked down the aisle. I clicked away. “Honestly?” I said as I glanced his way. “Oh yeah, for sure,” he said with a smile.
Pretty, pretty, pretty girl …
Yes, it rained … all day … and then it rained a little more. But we rolled with it and chalked it up to amazing luck for the years ahead of them. 🙂
It was one of those moments
When everything changes
She was, climbing out of a Chevrolet on the passenger’s side
I must’ve been staring ’cause when I caught her eye
It seemed like I had been looking at her for all of my life
So I said
Why don’t you come and go with me
Somehow I know, I’ve waited my whole life to see
You standing there with the wind in your hair
I’m as sure as a boy, could be
You are the girl that’s been running around in my dreams
You are the girl that’s been running around in my dreams“Running Around In My Dreams”

Kristen and Andrew’s ceremony was held on a cliff overlooking Lake Michigan in Virmond Park, Mequon. If you ask me, this park is just one of the area’s hidden treasures — it’s an absolutely perfect spot for an outdoor wedding ceremony.
Congratulations, Kristen and Andrew! If your life together is even half as sweet as the two of you, you’ll be blessed beyond measure. 🙂
Therefore, people set aside more day online.
