Friday’s Frame ~ Gracey Face

Happy October, everyone!

Friday’s Frame took a few days off, but I can’t say the same for myself! The past couple of weeks have been crazy busy, and with the holidays just around the corner (eeeekkk), it’s not about to slow down anytime soon! This weekend, I have two beautiful weddings — Sara and Eric today, and Kelly and Tim tomorrow. Seriously, there’s no better weekend to have two sweet couples tying the knot — have you seen the colors?? I can’t wait to play around in this amazing fall weather. 🙂

Earlier this week, I wrote a bit about Gracey’s sleeping adventures. To anyone who may be wondering, yes, she’s still sleeping like a champ. Hallelujah and amen. She is SO MUCH FUN lately — the past couple of weeks have been one development after another. Her little personality is definitely shining bright and she’s getting into evvvvvverything. 😉 When she and Daddy get together, it’s pick-on-Mommy time — she laughs and giggles until her little tummy gets the hiccups. It makes my heart hurt with happiness.

A couple days back, I photographed my cousin’s little boy, Forest. (More to come on Forest a little later …) We took his photos in my aunt’s beautiful backyard, and if I hadn’t brought Gracey with, I would have had some explaining to do! Toward the end of the session, we put Gracey in the pile of leaves with Forest — she’s a bit more reserved than he is, but it was absolutely adorable to see their two precious personalities mix together.

(And yes, this is the same dress Gracey was wearing in the last Friday’s Frame … do I look like someone who pays attention to those things?) 😉 Daddy calls this dress her 70’s muumuu … I call it just plain CUTE. Can I save these clothes forever and ever??

In other love, katie photography news, my new website and blog design is officially under way! Everything should be finished by early this winter. I absolutely can’t wait to share it with all of you!

Have a fantastic weekend! Take some time to enjoy the most beautiful time of year.
