“They’re not only churchgoers, they’re church witnesses. They live what they believe.”
What to say about a couple so inspiring — a couple whose wedding day sent chills through my body, multiple times. She, a medical school graduate well on her way toward becoming an emergency room physician, and he, a teacher at St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy. Their priest explained it best — through both of their professions, they choose to serve. A doctor and a teacher, two of the most important professions for the future of our children. Could life be any more fulfilling?
Thank you, Brittney and Alex, for inviting me into your incredibly special day. It was an absolute honor meeting you both. xoxo
When Brittney was a child, she and her younger brother picked out the necklace below at an antique store. She chose to wear it on her wedding day — how special is that.
As a teacher at SJNMA, Alex is required to wear the same uniform every day … except for his socks. He has made it his “thing” to wear goofy socks — the students even ask to see them. For their wedding day, he not only found fun socks for himself, but also for his groomsmen. 🙂
The SJNMA campus is simply gorgeous, especially in the fall.
Brittney, you are stunning. Just beautiful.
I couldn’t help but tear up when I saw how Alex and his mom were dancing. The way she rests her face into his is the same thing I do with my little boys about a hundred times a day. Someday, too soon, this will be me on the dance floor.
This girl could dance. Along with everyone else. 🙂
I love a little “Let it Go” … but I never realized every other adult does, too. 🙂
Congratulations, friends. I can’t wait to see where life takes you next. 🙂
