Brag books ♥ Milwaukee children’s photographer

Buuuurrrrrr! Hello, fall! Welcome to 2010. Please stay for at least 44 more days. 🙂

Speaking of … YIKES, 43 days until our wedding. I picked up my dress today! Very exciting. It’s bea-u-ti-ful. Tomorrow, I’ll be delivering it to its safe haven — a little town of nice, honest people — where it will have an entire basement to itself … otherwise known as, my mom’s house.

But what I really SHOULD do is hang it in our kitchen, directly in front of our brand new KitchenAid mixer — that dang thing has put me into a baking frenzy lately! It’s sooooo unbelievable! This week I’ve made homemade banana bread and a delicious peach pie. (All free to a good home … any takers?? Tommy is a Type 1 diabetic and I’m currently a Type 1 Bride.) The slogan on the KitchenAid website says, “Does everything but hug your kids.” That’s true! They’re not lying! You know how some recipes say, “Add this really fattening ingredient, plus a half-cup of sugar, and then beat for two minutes.” Well, with this mixer, you can just add the ingredients, turn it on, and walk away! Yup, go do the dishes for two minutes. Or let the dog out. Or check your e-mail. It takes my triple tasking to a whole new level.

I wanted to share with you a few photos of a brand new product I’m now offering. I’m super excited about these — I’ll be calling them brag books. They’re perfect for purses, or even your desk at work. The books come in sets of three, so keep one for yourself and give the other two to the grandmas!

With a customizable cover, a brag book showcases 10 photos altogether. The covers are magnetic so the two ends stay together when closed, but that also means they’re refrigerator friendly. 🙂

Here is the front, when it’s opened up like an accordion …

And here’s the back!

Pretty cool, eh? Thanks, Jax and Elly, for being my brag book sample. 🙂
