Friday’s Frame ~ Lunch break

Happy Friday, friends!

What a beautiful week. Gracey and I made approximately 15 trips around the block — with this kind of weather in March, you kind of feel as if you should sleep outside. She does pretty well in the stroller … for the most part. We had a little incident yesterday evening — she scratched herself halfway through our walk and her cries simply couldn’t be consoled (an overtired baby combined with flailing little hands is never a good thing). I picked her up, held her in my arms and walked home, dragging the stroller behind me. I can only imagine what the neighbors were saying as they watched through their living room windows.

According to weather.com, my iPhone app, John Malan and my own personal sundial (my husband), next week isn’t supposed to be quite as nice … meaning, no more 80-degree days. But hey, sunshine and the 50s this time of year? I’ll take it!

Today’s Friday’s Frame is from Gracey’s favorite time of day — lunchtime with Daddy. We sat out on the patio yesterday and took in some rays. I wish I could say this was after we ate the elaborate and delicious lunch I prepared … but, I had soup and Tommy probably stopped at Milio’s (I’m embarrassed … ). Oh well, at least Gracey was full.

Check back soon for some pics of an adorable 5-month-old I photographed this past weekend. 🙂 Enjoy the weekend.
