Friday’s Frame ~ Milwaukee newborn photographer

Friday again? Already?! Sounds good to me. 🙂

I know you’ve been patiently waiting — I’m a few hours behind today with Friday’s Frame. But for good reason! Today’s photo is fresh out of the camera — I had the honor of photographing Baby Colin just a couple hours ago!

It’s official: Colin holds two records in the love, katie photography newborn book: (1) Cutest cheeks ever, and, (2) biggest “littlest” baby.

Colin is just 9 days old and already weighs more than 10 pounds. He was 9 pounds, 15 ounces when he was born! And his beautiful mom, Mary, had an all natural birth. I’m telling you — talking with all of these amazing moms has me scared to death of the expectations I’ll eventually have to live up to. 😉

I’ll tell you a little more about Colin and his parents in a full post sometime next week, but today, I thought I’d share just one precious frame …

I like to think he was smiling just for me. 😉

Here’s to hoping for some nice weather this weekend! It’s time for me to start some home reno projects. (First on the list: Our patio. It needs to become a real-deal, we’re-all-grown-up PATIO, instead of the place we store our grill and garbage cans.) Besides, it’s already April 1, and we have some summer grillin’ and chillin’ to check off our list. Have a great weekend!
