It’s official, get out the allowance jar — Gracey has learned her first chore.
Um, actually, Gracey just enjoys turning off the lights.
OK, the truth: Gracey is purely obsessed with “clicking” the light switch, no matter what Mommy or Daddy might say.
Pretty harmless, right? The amount of laughter that comes out of this child when she turns off the lights and then sees Tommy and I sitting in the dark is worth every kilowatt. (Actually, she’s saving us kilowatts … unless turning the lights on and off repeatedly burns more kilowatts. Which, in turn, would be quite unfortunate.)
Thanks, Grandma Jane, for teaching her this vital life skill. 😉
