I’m not extremely political and neither is this blog. One thing I love, though, is watching history unfold. Documentaries, national news, biographies … it’s all extremely interesting and calming for me. There isn’t much that will convince me to turn on the TV during the day, but this week was President Obama’s Second Inauguration — exciting times when it’s just you and a 1-year-old.
While Gracey played with her Legos and sporadically glanced up at the television, I wondered how much this country will change in her lifetime.
In other news, Tommy started a new job this week (YAY TOMMY!), so it’s been a bit of an adjustment for us all! Gracey and I are so proud of him, but she’s been wondering where her breakfast buddy is these days. 😉 (He has to leave for work a bit earlier than he used to.) We’ve had a few totally random crying spells (from Gracey, of course …) and I can only guess it’s because she misses her prince. One of these days, I’ll photograph her face when she sees him walk in the door … absolutely priceless.
Tomorrow morning, I’ll be photographing a maternity session (with maybe a few snowflakes if we’re lucky?). Check back soon for last weekend’s wedding pics! Have a great weekend, everyone.
