Well folks, this is it! One last Friday’s Frame before Baby G. In two days, we’ll be three.
Lots of people have asked how I’ve been feeling this week. Besides the fact that standing actually kind of hurts, the “battle” is almost entirely emotional. I feel anxious, ready, not-so-ready, nervous, nervous, nervous, excited, cranky, incredibly thankful, happy, and yes … even a bit blue. Strange, but honest. For the past four years, it’s been Tommy and I — just me and my best bud. You wonder how drastically life will change. Let’s face it — Tommy’s heart is about to be stolen. 😉 But this is exactly what we wanted. What we prayed for. What we hoped for. I’m excited beyond words to meet her, hold her, kiss her, love her. And I can’t wait to see my husband turn into a father.
Tonight, we decided to head to Pewaukee’s “Country Christmas.” Who doesn’t love Christmas lights? One more mini-date before our little girl arrives …
So there you have it! As soon as I’m halfway recovered, I plan on posting some sessions that never got blogged, so check back in a week or two. (And oh, maybe I’ll post a picture or two of Baby G. Maybe.) 😉 2012 is going to be a great year for love, katie photography — expect a total website update and several new packages before winter is over. I’m still booking weddings for 2012, so if you hear of any lovebirds who get engaged over the holidays, be sure to send them my way. 🙂
