Fathers often say it best.
Last weekend, I had the absolute honor of photographing Kate and JT’s gorgeous, intimate, carefree and classic wedding at Gesu and Crowne Plaza. I’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding at Gesu for quite some time — it’s an absolutely gorgeous church set in the middle of the beautiful Marquette campus. We also walked to Joan of Arc Chapel after the service for a few photos outdoors — truly, it was the perfect combination of faith, elegance, love and charm.
The enduring qualities these two share seem to never end. They laugh together, cry together and embrace each other through every moment. As a wedding day unfolds, I see glimpses into the lives of two people so deeply in love, and it is nothing less than an honor to witness.
Kate’s gorgeous hair and makeup was done by the fabulous B’Lovely Salon.
They’ll always have a memory of just how windy it was on their wedding day. 😉 (Kate’s beautiful veil was about 2 seconds from Lake Michigan — JT to the rescue!)
