Did anyone catch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night on CBS? I say that as if I had been waiting all year to watch it or something. Actually, no … but if it sneaks into your channel flipping routine, it’s hard not to look. My hair stylist says the models are “skinny fat people,” meaning, they have no muscle mass and simply never eat. She could be on to something. For me, it’s not so much about the girls, as super skinny girls are just … well, super skinny girls. But the production that went into this event (at least the 10 minutes I watched) was unbelievable. And I learned it’s all about the “wings” the girls wear. But some of the outfits … puh-lease. That’s not even playing fair for us busy-bee-women as we sit on our couches and work on our laptops well past the normal 9-5. Like, this outfit, or this one. Wait a second! That’s almost what I picked out to wear this morning … but decided on jeans and a sweater instead. Uh huh yup total truth.
I thought I’d share a few photos from a recent engagement session. These photos make the weather seem warmer than it actually was … Samantha and Ken are super troopers!
Samantha and Ken told me they were a bit nervous at the start, but when couples mention some “photo apprehension,” I just want to give them a big hug! That would be weird, though … so really, all I can say is, “If you love the person you’re with, your job is done. I’ll handle the rest.”
Samantha brought along a great umbrella and although it wasn’t raining at the time, I loooooove colorful props!
Something about the horizon attracted me to this spot … this was our last image of the day, and I love how happy they look!
June will be here before we know it and these two will be the newest Mr. and Mrs. Can’t wait! 🙂
