Have I mentioned how much I love it when clients take me to new and beautiful locations?
I first received a message from Sara in late July. She told me she fell in love with my website — she was wondering if we could set up a fall engagement session near their home in Belgium.
October is an incredibly popular month to do photo sessions in Wisconsin, as the colors are stunning for a good couple of weeks. If you have a specific location in mind, all the better! Sara, Eric and I met up at Harrington Beach State Park, Belgium, located right alongside Lake Michigan. And I don’t mean Lake Michigan as in Bradford-Beach-filled-with-1,000-people — I mean Lake Michigan as in, totally deserted, amazingly quiet and completely beautiful.

We happened to run into Eric’s nephew during the photo session — I’m pretty sure the chance encounter made his nephew’s entire year. 🙂 As they were saying goodbye, his nephew said, “Let’s do the fish handshake!”
