Pop the bottle of champagne, friends ~ my Milwaukee photography studio is OPEN!
I’m so happy to finally share this big announcement with you all! It is so exciting to be moving onward and upward in my business, with those I love most right by my side. This studio is a direct reflection of community, friendship, initiative and teamwork ~ I wouldn’t be where I am today without great friends, family and clients supporting my business every step of the way.
Earlier this winter, three amazingly talented photographer friends and I started looking for a studio we could call our own. We decided to continue on with our own separate businesses, but look for a space we could all share. Jen, Laurie, Lisa and I had a few visions in mind ~ we wanted a shooting space, a meeting space and a shared workspace. We wanted to be close to Milwaukee’s Third Ward ~ we were dreaming of modern decor, pretty daylight coming in through big windows, brick walls, and a calming, inviting aesthetic. With persistence and hard work, I think we absolutely made our dreams a reality!
The space ~ which we named Studio 405 ~ is located in the heart of Milwaukee’s Third Ward. We are located directly across from the Milwaukee Public Market and right above Colectivo. I can’t tell you how wonderful it has been to meet with potential wedding clients in such a lovely, quiet, personal space. I’ve also started doing a few photo sessions in the shooting space ~ it’s amazing to have a beautiful indoor option to photograph families, children and newborns, especially during Wisconsin winters. My studio is within walking distance of the Riverwalk and endless delicious restaurants. Whether you’re a friend, past client or potential client, I would absolutely LOVE to meet up and chat! (I will never, ever turn down a Green Kitchen salad from the Public Market … or a raspberry white mocha from the Starbucks just around the corner …) 😉
To celebrate the opening, I am holding a Spring Mini Session Day Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the studio (225 E. St. Paul Ave., Suite 405, Milwaukee, WI). 🙂 Winter is OVER ~ this is the perfect opportunity to get some updated, beautiful, spring-like, happy photos of your kids (see some examples below!). I’ll have a few fun, simple props with me, but mostly, I just want to see your smiling, beautiful faces. 🙂 Mini session details are below ~ I will be offering five time slots. I would love to photograph you and show you my new space!
