Theresa and Andy ~ Pier Wisconsin wedding

Not too many brides tear up when the time comes for me to say goodbye. OK, it’s actually never happened to me before.

Never, that is, until I met Theresa.

Are you kidding me, I thought to myself as I left Discovery World this past Saturday evening. Could this wedding have been any more perfect? I basically had Audrey Hepburn as the bride, with a groom so in love I bet he would have swam in Lake Michigan if I had asked, and family members so kind you’d think they were my own.

Beautiful, classy, kind, perfectly emotional and in love. That’s how I’d describe this girl. And her man? Well, when he wraps his arms around her, there’s really nothing left to say. You’ll see …

Lovely, lovely, lovely Old St. Mary.

Between the ceremony and the reception, Theresa and Andy decided to have a drink at The Wicked Hop. Amongst the congratulations, cheers and claps from customers, Theresa’s sense of humor cracked me up. “We don’t have any marital problems yet,” she said to a pair of women admiring her ring.

After The Wicked Hop, we headed on over to the Milwaukee Public Market. Theresa and Andy thought it’d be fun to get some ice cream with their wedding party. LOVE IT.

(There may or may not have been a few drips of chocolate ice cream on the bottom of Theresa’s dress. Shrug. Cool brides don’t fuss. They simply lick it off.) 🙂

After the Third Ward, we headed on over to Pier Wisconsin for some photos next to the water, followed by their reception.

Theresa says Andy usually lifts her up to kiss him, since she’s so short. Adorable. 🙂

This dad did more than a few things right raising his little girl. 😉

Theresa and Andy, it was an absolute honor. Thank you so much for allowing me into your lives for a day. May you always love each other enough to shrug off a little chocolate ice cream on a white dress. 🙂

love,
katie
