Friday’s Frame ~ Changing tables … and times

Soooo … who wants some Halloween candy? If you keep up with my Facebook page, you might have noticed I’m offering a “very special,” unlimited-time-only promotion: Order prints or products through me, and you’ll receive some delicious chocolate in your package. This candy has to get out of our house! It’s long overstayed its welcome. I’m not eating chocolate at the time, but that by no means implies it still doesn’t tempt me. I have sessions to share, weddings to finish editing and adorable photos to post. But some of you might be here to check in on the baaaaaaby. 🙂 I don’t blame you! The days are quickly winding down. Tommy and I have been spending the majority of our spare time preparing for Little Gardner. I had my first baby shower this past weekend (a huge thank you to my sisters-in-law and my mom for hosting) — it was super exciting. We received so many wonderful gifts! I’m incredibly thankful for family members and friends who are willing to help us out with some of our baby purchases.

On that note, today’s Friday’s Frame is, of course, Tommy assembling our changing table! It’s not just a changing table — it’s also a dresser. Double duty! And would you believe all 138 parts were not assembly-ready, so Tommy had to do some minor improvising …

For anyone who cares to examine the photo: The paint color we chose is Sherwin Williams, Lime Granita. The changing table is from Kohl’s and our new carpeting is Shaw (and oh so soft). And the random pillow is for me to lean against, since sitting on the floor at 8 months pregnant is not exactly ideal. (I had a very important job of handing Tommy the correct screws.)

Tomorrow, I have two sessions scheduled — a 1-year-old in the morning and an engagement in the afternoon! Check back next week for some catch-up posts. Have a great weekend, everyone.
