A couple weeks back, I had the privilege to photograph a 14-day-old newborn. There isn’t a day I don’t jump at the chance to turn my camera on a brand new baby. If possible, I love to capture babies within their first two weeks of life — it allows me to record the tiniest of features, and with a little luck, the baby will sleep through a good part of the session!
Angie (little Andrew’s mother) graciously opened up her home in order to capture a few special on-location images. Angie is the proud mother of three young boys. Someday, if I look as good as Angie did just a couple weeks after giving birth (all while chasing around two other children), I fully expect my husband to roll out the red carpet.

Andrew didn’t feel like sleeping much with a big shiny camera to look at, but toward the end, he took a little snooze … here, in a baby “thinker” pose, I’m fairly certain he’s figuring out how to create world peace.
