Brand new business cards!

I’ll be the first to admit it: When the doorbell rings and it’s the UPS guy in that silly brown outfit, I get SUPER excited. A few weeks back, I pretty much ripped the package out of his hands — finally, my shiny new business cards had arrived!

Thanks to a couple of incredibly talented, graphic design-savvy friends, I’d bet a dollar or two that my cards are the coolest on the block. Tommy and I had a fairly specific idea in mind about how we wanted the cards to look: Modern, artistic and memorable.

Ron Matteucci (ronmatteucci@att.net) — a good friend and Tommy’s former co-worker — did the design. I couldn’t have asked for a more talented (and patient!) designer. Ron listened when I explained exactly how I wanted to cards to look, and he searched long and hard to find the best (and most affordable) printer. I can’t thank Ron enough for all the hours he devoted to my cards. If you need a business card designer, Ron is your guy.

Secondly, one of my closest friends, Becky McKean, designed the logo you see on the cards. Becky is a kick-butt designer — she designs wedding invites and baby announcements. She also creates beautiful children’s paintings. When I first launched my Web site several months back, Becky saw the logo I had designed on my own and graciously said, “Umm Katie, I think I can help you out.” 🙂 Within just a few hours, Becky designed the logo that now appears on my site, my cards and my prints. I owe her, times a million!

Thank you, Ron and Becky, for all of your help!

If anyone would like a stack of cards to hand out or put on display, please let me know …
