{Black} Friday’s Frame ~ Milwaukee children’s photographer

You know, I pretty much hate malls.

Love cute clothes. Love new styles. Love getting a good deal. But it’s the parking, the people, the lines … (and quite possibly the fact that I’m nearly nine months pregnant) — just the thought of going out today made my palms sweat.

So, Tommy and I stayed in. OK, we went to Walgreens. But Walgreens doesn’t really count (unless you stand in line at 3 a.m. for a free tube of toothpaste). On the way home, we noticed a street FILLED with cars. Our minds started turning. Turns out, it was overflow from the Menards parking lot … you know, that HUGE Menards on Bluemound Road with two stories, an escalator and a lot big enough for the entire city of Brookfield. Yup, full. We both looked at each other and … put the pedal to the metal! I’ll settle for a few online deals sitting in the comfort of my own home, thank you very much. 😉

Speaking of, if you happen to be a fellow photographer and would like to check out a few fantastic online Black Friday buys, check out my friend Jamie’s website. She has compiled a list of photography-related sales. I use many of these products in my daily workflow!

For today’s Friday’s Frame, I decided to share a photo from a late fall session I had last week. These two little boys — Jack and Charlie — are actually my second cousins! Although, they probably know me better as, “The lady who made us play outside in the cold,” or, “Hannah’s aunt.” 🙂

Yes, it was chilly, but these guys made me LAUGH. Personality is definitely not something they lack. 🙂

Be sure to check back next week for a full post from their session!

As for Baby Gardner? She’s growing! And making mama a bit uncomfortable. These last four weeks (or less?) are going to be … uh, not-so-comfortable? Honestly though, I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world. Lots of emotions are running through our minds lately, but mostly, I simply can’t believe we’ll be “three” in just a few short weeks. Life flies by so quickly at times.

Have a great weekend, everyone! Don’t eat too many leftovers. 😉
