Her parents might not know it, but I see little Caroline almost every day.
I first met this adorable little girl last summer — I photographed her early one morning at Doctor’s Park in Fox Point. The sun was still rising through the trees behind us, and I fell in love with her precious smile. The light in one of the photos was so gorgeous — I just had to get a canvas wrap made to hang in my office! So there you have it — Caroline greets me every morning. 🙂
When her parents visited family in the area toward the beginning of this month, they asked if I had time to photograph her again. It’s exciting to watch children grow and mature behind the lens. Although it had only been a year, Caroline looks (and acts!) a bit more grown-up — she picked up a funny habit of saying “CHEESE!” every time the camera is pointed her way. It’s a good thing Mom and Dad were there for a slight distraction. 🙂
Look how adorable she is on Dad’s shoulder … I know I have a memory like this of my own. Caroline has the memory, and now the picture.
Those eyes …
She’s smiling behind that hand … just a bit shy, which I thought was beautiful.
Don’t get any more beautiful Caroline, or I’ll have to get a bigger office!
That’s all for now, friends. I’m off to photograph a tiny little newborn. Check back soon for more exciting updates!
