It wasn’t the most typical background music for a romantic summer evening wedding, but when a local band unknowingly played The Star-Spangled Banner while the Air Force pilot stood hand-in-hand with her soon-to-be husband, Carrie was torn: Should she salute, or recite her vows?
She saluted. And then she laughed. They waited, the National Anthem ended, and their life together began. Surrounded by their closest friends and family members, Carrie and Michael did what they had wanted to do for years — they promised each other forever.
This past Friday, I had the honor of spending just four hours with two people who are madly in love. Thank you, Carrie and Michael, for allowing me the opportunity to document your happy day. The love you two share is about as real as love can be. 🙂 Congratulations!
