Friday’s Frame ~ Milwaukee engagement photographer

Holy stormy weather, Wisco! Has it actually been raining for more than a week straight? Why yes, yes it has. Fingers crossed the rain holds off for Loreen and Derek’s beautiful Milwaukee wedding tomorrow!

With all this wet weather, Tommy and I have been spending our evenings indoors, preparing a place for the baby. We ended up moving Tommy’s office down to the basement (poor guy) :(, my office into his old office, and my old office will be the nursery! All of that moving equates to this: PAINTING. Someone bring Tommy a cookie — he deserves it. (Subway chocolate chip is his preferred pick.) Last night, he began painting the nursery walls. The anticipation was killing me — I kept sticking my head in the room to take a peek. Each time I opened the door, he’d yell, “Hold your breath!” By the end of the night, he looked down at my belly and said, “I painted your room tonight, baby. You better like the color, because next time, you’re doing it yourself.” 🙂

In light of this week’s storms, I thought I’d post a photo from a recent engagement session — Kirsten and Allan. The rain held off for their session and I thought the dark clouds were really pretty.

Have a great weekend! And enjoy the first day of Wisconsin’s prettiest month of the year.
