Hey blog readers! I have returned!
The “love, katie” blog took a bit of a sick day on Friday (ick), but this week, I’m back in action! It’s a crazy busy time of year for me. That, and the little girl inside of me isn’t letting me get a whole lot of sleep lately. The countdown continues — I’m now about 26.5 weeks along. (In other words, it’s nursery-decorating time.) Tommy and I have been doing all sorts of reorganizing in our home to make a pretty space for Little Gardner. Very exciting! (Who knew it would take five paint samples to finally decide on a beautiful shade of light green for the nursery walls …)
As previously promised, I’d like to post a few more photos from Harrison’s recent lifestyle session. Harrison’s parents told me they wanted part of their session to reflect life at home, which is an idea I absolutely love. There needs to be more lifestyle sessions in family photography! Afterall, it’s all about preserving memories …
As a side note: Harrison’s parents opted to purchase an entirely digital session, meaning, they paid one combined price for both the session and the CD of high-resolution, edited images (accompanied by a release to print).
