Friday’s Frame ~ One month!

It’s hard to believe our boys are one month old!

Wait, no it’s not. It’s not hard to believe at all. I think I’ve been awake for every. single. minute. of the past month!! 😉

Truth be told, having twins is hard. Having twins and a toddler is even harder. We are surviving, and at this age, that’s about all I can ask for. 🙂 Thank goodness for help from family and friends. Gracey has been adjusting incredibly well, but she has her moments when she simply wants Gracey Time. When I take a step back and look at the big picture, the boys are doing fantastic — two healthy babies is all we ever hoped and prayed for throughout the pregnancy. But that’s not to say it isn’t difficult. Sam is our fussy one. Nolan is relaxed. Sam is a mirror image of the type of baby Gracey was. Nolan proves that it doesn’t matter what we do as parents — some babies are easy, some are hard. I blame the fussiness and colic on tummy issues. As for sleeping? They eat about every two to three hours. Sometimes, I’ll get a four-hour stretch out of them at night. Nolan goes down super easy, but Sam … Sam does not. He thinks 3 a.m. is party time. 🙂

Some of my most favorite times are when Tommy is home and we’re all able to be together as a family. It’s during those moments I’m reminded of the love …
