Hey blog friends! Hope y’all had a great week! It’s Friday night but my achy feet think it’s Sunday — today, I assisted a good college friend, Jen Sexton, at a beautiful Milwaukee wedding. Such a blast … hanging out with an old friend, snapping photos, talking about old memories and making new ones. Jen is an extremely talented up-and-coming photographer — she’s one to watch, folks! (That, and she has really strong feet … that girl can walk through sand, rocks and burrs barefoot! No lie, she owned Lake Michigan today.)
This was the only wedding I assisted this year (I’m accustomed to going solo), but it’s great to sit back and be a second hand to a primary shooter. A little less stressful on myself, plus there’s the added comfort of knowing the pressure is split between two.
As I burn a few DVDs of images for Jen, I wanted to share one quick snap from tonight. Ricky was so adorable with his lovely new wife. You know what they say: A thousand words …
Whew! Another super busy week ahead, filled with a couple newborn sessions, WPPI Road Trip on Thursday (EXCITED!!) and then one last wedding (before my own) on Saturday (Kamy and Jeremy, I can’t wait!). Any breaks in between are reserved for editing, so check back soon. 🙂
