Suzie and Nathan ~ The Coast wedding

“I’d love to go on a date with you tonight,” Suzie said as she twirled the hotel phone cord around her fingers, beaming from ear to ear. She was just hours away from promising him forever.

It was then, that I knew. In the smallest of moments, I see love.

It’s the way her face lights up when she talks with him over the phone, almost as if it’s the first time he’s called. It’s how he puts his hand in the small of her back while they’re walking, as if to say, “You’re my girl,” without actually saying a word. It’s the tear-filled eyes when she sees him standing off in the distance. It’s how he pulls her chair out as she sits down at their table for two. And it’s because he holds not just one of her hands, but two, all while stealing flirtatious glances and I-love-you smiles.

“Honestly, I just felt comforted,” Nathan said when asked how he felt the moment he first saw Suzie. “We’re always together, so being apart was difficult.”

What more can you say about this kind of love.

Have you ever seen a more beautiful bride? (Yeah, didn’t think so …) 🙂

Suzie and Nathan held their ceremony and reception at The Coast, a beautiful downtown Milwaukee venue, located just off the shores of Lake Michigan.

Two things about the next two photos: 1. These people know how to Dougie. 2. I’m not quite sure who Mask Guy is, but I trust he’s absolutely thrilled to be featured on my blog. 🙂

Suzie and Nathan, you feel like old friends. I’d wish you a lifetime filled with love, but I see you already have that covered. 🙂 I’m a bit sad to realize “our time” has come to an end, but I’m excited to see what your future holds. Thank you, again, for letting me document “your date.” 🙂  You two are an inspiration in kindness and in love!
