As I said during the photo shoot, this little guy must be from Waupun: Blonde hair, blue eyes … he’s 100 percent Dutch. 🙂
Every so often, I get a referral to photograph something in Waupun, which is where I grew up. I love the opportunity, since I feel totally at home and never get lost driving! It also gives me a chance to stop by my grandma’s, and maybe see Mom (my most loyal blog reader … has anyone noticed?). 🙂
I met little Blake in mid-June at a wedding I photographed — his uncle got married just a week after Blake was born (photos from the wedding to follow!).
It was great to talk with Blake’s mom while I snapped the photos — Blake’s parents have been together since eighth grade, which is almost as adorable as their brand new baby boy.
It was so cute to see his little toes stick through a knit baby cocoon I have — I think he liked it!
